S4 Rotor Blade self-Cleaning Filter

The Airpel Model S4 Rotor Blade Self- Cleaning Filter is suitable for all liquids, particularly those of high viscosity, such as chocolate and paints.  It is also used on high value liquids since liquid losses from the system are  minimal.               

The Rotor Blade Self-Cleaning Filter is a fully fabricated stainless  steel body with stainless steel internal filter yoke assembly. 

The  S4 Rotor Blade Self-Cleaning Filter allows cleaning of the filter screen  without operator contact and without disruption to the liquid flow, just  like our other SCF’s, but with the addition of using a helical blade  producing a unique ‘screw down’ mechanism that drives debris toward the  sump of the filter. 

Manual Actuation

• Ratchet handle is fitted to the unit  for manual filter element cleaning 
• Filter ‘dump’ connection comes plugged ready for the customer to tie into their valve.
• Control panel and differential pressure indicators not supplied as standard

Motorized Actuation

• Manual  cleaning handle is replaced by a motor (Electrical or Pneumatic) which  can be operated directly or via a control panel
• Filter ‘dump’ connection comes plugged ready for the customer to tie into their valve
• Control panel and differential pressure indicators not supplied as standard

Fully Automated Actuation

• Manual cleaning handle is replaced by a motor  (Electrical or Pneumatic) which can be operated directly or via a  control panel
• ‘Dump’ valve is replaced by an electro-mechanical or pneumatic valve connected to control panel
• Differential pressure indicators are standard 
• All connected to a control panel to monitor and operate the filter accordingly.  Requires no manual intervention
